Community Garden Cover Crop Workshop

The workshop will cover the benefits of using cover crops in your garden to control weeds and improve soil quality, the different choices of what you can plant to achieve different goals, and the how-tos of planting, maintaining, and removing a cover crop.

Fall cover crop seeds to take home and use in your own garden will be available for free, courtesy of a grant from the Natural Resource Conservation Service.  RSVPs to [email protected] appreciated, though not required, so we know how many seeds to bring.
