Troy Farm Harvest Fest returns with a variety of family-friendly and educational offerings. Come celebrate the end of the growing season with us at this free community event full of fun autumnal activities, live music and more!
Harvest Fest Event Schedule:
- 12pm-4pm: Apple Cider Pressing
- 12pm to 6pm: Build your own Flower Bouquets
- 12pm – 5pm: Rooted Kid’s Activities
- 1pm to 4pm: MSCR on the Play on the Move Cart
- 1pm and 3pm: Troy Farm and Gardens Tour (30-minute tour)
Free Community Workshops:
Held hourly, on the hour 1pm-4pm. Each workshop will be offered twice.
- Troy Farm Prairie Walk and Talk: Prairie management strategies and seed collecting with Maury Smith, offered at 1pm & 3pm.
- Making Medicinal Infused Vinegars with Amanda Riley from NettleWitch Herbs, offered at 1pm & 3pm.
- Bokashi Composting at home with Kim Fruin from FarmHer Greens, offered at 2pm & 4pm.
- Cooking demo with Sei and Melissa Kidau of 40 Acre Farm, Youth Empowerment Initiatives and Rasta Barista, offered at 2pm & 4pm.
Music Line-Up
- 1pm-3pm: the Dans (Dan Plourde and Dan Walkner duo)

- 5pm-6pm: The Earthlings
